London Visitors at the Argonne Community Garden!

On Thursday afternoon, Professor Richard Wiltshire, geographer & community garden enthusiast & 13 graduate students of geography from Kings College, London visited the Argonne Community Garden, guided by Garden Coordinator, Sheree Kaslikowski. Professor Wiltshire & the students were a lovely & lively group who shared British community garden history (dates back to the 13th century) & tidbits such as the origin for determining plot size (must be large enough to sustain a pig) & how the climate is now warm enough to grow Concord grapes!
